It's breaking my heart, but I need to take a break

I have thought about how to write this post over and over and each time it still does not sound right.
So please bare with me
I have been writing this blog for about 2 years or more now and I have loved it. I have met some amazing people and my followers are the greatest.
When I say that I mean it with all of my heart. I have loved sharing ideas and learning from each and every one of you.
I love your comments and you have inspired me to be all that I can be
Lately I have felt stressed and overwhelmed with all that is involved with moving across the country.
I have been trying to clear out things here and look for a house in Ontario.
And I have felt guilty that I have not had the time to devote to my blog and to my projects.
I have a few projects that I am going to finish up to get them sold and out of the garage.
After that I am going to take a break and concentrate on our move, finding a home and getting everything ready for the move.
My Dad has been ill for the last few months and being so far away
and not being there for him has had me down too
I miss my family and can not wait to be close to them again
I am afraid that I am going to have to take a break from my blog as well
I won't be painting and creating until we get settled
And I can't really write a blog about up cycling when I am not doing it
I hope my followers will come back when I start up again
I hope to be able to write posts about our new home and
all the decor changes I will be doing to make it ours
And I am looking forward to doing more upcycling and creating when I am settled in our new home
And I hope all of you will join me again, when I am done with all the stress
that is currently going on in my life
And join me with all the exciting adventures that come with finding a new home
and making it our own
and also setting up shop to improve on my home business
I hope all of you stay safe and happy
and enjoy your summer
I will be back as soon as we are settled and my creative juices
are flowing again
until then
Maggie and I send our love and thanks for being here with us
hope to see you all again real soon

and my lil sidekick

Take care everyone see you soon

  1. Sounds like an exciting and busy time ahead! I hope it all goes well and can't wait to see your new place!

  2. Thank you Becky, I feel like I am losing my mind, but hopefully we will find the right place soon and the move will go well. I am not looking forward to packing and hauling everything across country, but I can't wait to have our own home again. I set up at the flea market last weekend and sold quite a bit, did a dump run and donated a car load to Salvation Army. Now its time to start packing and put an offer on a property. thanks so much for commenting, hugs Tobey

  3. Tobey,
You are preserving your talent for future endeavors by recognizing your limitations!
Much happiness as you transition into a new home, and I pray that it goes off without problems (moving is a pain).
    See you later,

    1. Thank you Margaret, just doing the flea market, the dump and taking some stuff for donations was exhausting lol . I am not looking forward to packing and moving, but we hope this is the last time we have to do it. thanks for understanding, hugs Tobey

  4. Tobey, I hope you find the PERFECT home for you, and may the Lord bless you in the move and all that goes with it. I just heard a few days ago on the radio that people rate "moving" as one of the top most stressful things in life. Enjoy your blog break and don't feel guilty! :)

    2. Thank you Kammy, I am finding the trying to house hunt online to find a few properties to look at, talk about stressful. I am trying to line up a bunch of properties to fly home and look at. We want to be able to move from here into our new home. But its hard to tell from pictures, if it meets all the needs on our wish list. And when I find one that I think does it sells. I feel so much better once we are all moved and settled. thanks for understanding. hugs Tobey

  5. Take whatever time you need Tobey - we'll be here when you come back -
( but stay in touch from time to time okay? )
    Big hugs,

  6. Thank you Suzan, of course I would never take a break from talking to you. I will still follow your blog, and keep in touch with you. I am just not working on projects there I don't have things to post. Once we find a house and I get settled I will be back for sure. You keep your creative juices flowing and mine will be back soon. big hugs Tobey
